Czech Airlines to fly six more European routes from Bratislava.

Czech Airlines will start offering six more direct flights from Bratislava to other European cities as of June 2011, the company said on its website. Currently the airlines operates only Bratislava-Prague route. As of June it will start operating two weekly flights to Barcelona, three to Brussels and to Larnaca, four to Amsterdam, five to Rome and seven to Paris. Our decision to start operating direct flights from Slovakias metropolis was governed by the most frequent routings of passengers on Czech Airlines transfer flights from Bratislava via Prague on to the airlines network," the companys fice president for sales and marketing Jiri Marek said. Czech Airlines carried 846,000 passengers in the first quarter of 2011, down 13.5% y/y.
