Czech Airlines signs code-share agreement with Etihad Airways.

Czech flag carrier CSA has signed a code-share agreement with UAEs Etihad Airways on long-distance flights from Prague to Abu Dhabi, CIA news agency reported. Prague-Abu Dhabi flight will be operated four times a week with Airbus A319 aircraft. CSA will use Etihad's flight network in the Middle East, India, China, Japan and Australia, and Etihad will use CSA's network in Europe. Earlier in June, the companys chairman Miroslav Dvora said CSA will reduce the number of serviced destinations to 40 from 60 and cut fleet by 30 aircraft in the next two to three years. CSA returned to a pre-tax profit of CZK 73.36bn (EUR 3bn) in 2010 from a loss of CZK 3.68bn a year ago. The companys revenue dropped by 14.8% to CZK 16.9bn and passengers fell by 2.4% to 4.59mn.
