CSI decreased to 102 in June.

South Korea's consumer sentiment index (CSI) decreased to 102 in June this year, as compared to 104 recorded in May. As reported by Xinhua News Agency, the Bank of Korea (BOK) stated that the inflation expectation averaged at 3.9% in June, which was unaltered from May. The consumer sentiment on living standards reduced 1 point m/m recording 87 in June, while that on prospective living standard, it decreased 3 points recording 93 during the period. The consumer sentiment on current as well as future domestic economic conditions decreased 4 points and 5 points m/m respectively, during the period.
