Croatias Uljanik shipyard signs EUR 32mn deal with local firm Jadrolinija.

Croatian shipyard Uljanik said it has signed a EUR 32mn contract for the construction of four ferryboats with local shipping company Jadrolinija. Uljanik said in a filing with the Zagreb bourse that the ferries will have transportation capacity of 600 passengers and 145 vehicles. The length of the vessels will be 100 meters, breadth of 17.5 meters, draught 2.4 meters. The delivery is expected in the February-April 2014 period.
