Croatian Post turns to EUR 6.9mn net profit in 2009.

The Croatian Post (HP) reported a consolidated net profit of HRK 49.9mn (EUR 6.9mn) in 2009, after a net loss of HRK 253.9mn a year ago. The main reason for the better financial result was the decrease in the total expenditures, which went down by 9% y/y to HRK 1.64bn. The total revenues of the company rose by 9% y/y to HRK 1.69bn mainly due to the increase of sales revenues by 9.5% y/y to HRK 1.63bn.
