Croatian IT firm GDi Gisdata signs deal with Slovenian gas operator Adriaplin.

Croatian software developer GDi Gisdata said it has signed a contract with Slovenian natural gas distributer, system operator and importer Adriaplin. The value of the deal was not disclosed in a GDi Gisdata statement. Under the contract, GDi GISDATA will deliver a complete solution to Adriaplin, which will be based on ESRI GIS platform. It will help develop an appropriate data model, data consolidation and migration of natural gas distribution network of 17 municipalities. The project has to be completed by end-2012. The solution will as well incorporate integration with the ERP system and develop a module for mandatory data export to national surveying agency (GURS). Adriaplin is a member of the Italy-based Eni Group.
