Croatia to complete EU entry talks in 2010.

The European Council president Herman Van Rompuy said after the talks with president Ivo Josipovic that the country could complete its EU entry negotiations this year. Croatia made a big progress in its EU entry talks in the last years and now the country had entered its final stage of the negotiations. Rompuy stressed that the regional cooperation and improvement of relations with neighboring countries, notably Bosnia-Herzegovina, was very important. He also pointed out the importance of continuation of reforms in different areas, by requesting for full cooperation with the Hague war crimes tribunal.
