Croatia sells EUR 96.6mn of T-bills, yields flat.

Croatia sold EUR 96.6mn worth of Treasury bills at an auction on March 19, the finance ministry said in a statement. A total of HRK 720mn (EUR 95mn) of the sold securities were denominated in kuna, while the remaining EUR 1.6mn were denominated in euro. The planned amount of the kuna-denominated T-bills stood at HRK 550mn, while that of the euro-denominated T-bills was EUR 10mn. The ministry sold HRK 80mn worth of three-month kuna-denominated T-bills after meeting all bids. It also sold HRK 142mn worth of six-month kuna-denominated T-bills after receiving bids for the same amount and placed HRK 498mn of one-year T-bills to meet all bids. The yields on the three-month T-bills stood at 1%, on the six-month T-bills at 1.8% and on the one-year T-bills at 2.55% - all unchanged from the previous auctions. The ministry also sold a EUR 1.6mn issue of one-year euro-denominated T-bills issue although receiving bids for EUR 7.6mn, yielding 1.8% (also unchanged).
