Croatia's number of industrial orders up 0.2% y/y in March.

The number of new industrial orders in Croatia inched up by 0.2% on the year in March after increasing by an annual 17.1% in February, the statistics office said. Foreign orders dropped by 4.2% on the year, while orders on the domestic market were up by 1.9% year-on-year. In terms of major groups classification, increase was observed in intermediate goods, which registered an annual increase of 24.9%. Consumer durables went down by 63.7% on the year and consumer non-durables by 10.9%. Seasonally adjusted industrial orders dropped by a monthly 13.5% in March following a 12.7% drop in the previous month. The decline was attributed to a 7.5% drop in foreign orders, while domestic ones fell by 20.8% on the month. The total working-day adjusted industrial turnover stepped down by 3.1% on the year. The industrial turnover on the domestic market narrowed by 4.5% on the year, while on the non-domestic market rose by an annual 3.5%. Seasonally adjusted industrial turnover increased by 0.2% on the month in March. In terms of markets, the domestic one registered a 2% drop, while the non-domestic one increased by 11.3% month-on-month.
