Croatia's June retail sales up by real 1% y/y.

Croatia's retail sales increased by a real 1% y/y in June 2011, following a 1% increase in the previous month, the statistics office said. Retail sales grew nominally by 3.8% y/y, after they advanced by 4.3% in May. In monthly comparison, sales moved up by 4.1% in nominal and by 5% in real terms. Retail trade, excluding the trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles, increased by 4.8% m/m in nominal terms, following a drop of 0.2% a month earlier. In real terms it grew by 5.8% m/m in June after a 0.8% m/m rise in the previous month.
