Croatia improves ranking in World Bank's Doing Business 2011 report.

Croatia moved up by five positions to rank 84th in terms of ease of doing business among 183 states, the World Bank's report Doing Business 2011 showed. Croatia showed improvement in the areas of starting a business (56th, up by 44 places) and in dealing with construction permits (132nd, up by 13 places). The substantial improvement in the area of starting a business resulted from the introduction of online registration for limited liability companies. The country, however, worsened its ranking in terms of closing a business (89th, down by 6 places) and in getting credit (65th, down by 4 places).
