Croatia closes provisionally fisheries policy chapter in EU entry talks.

The country closed provisionally the fisheries policy chapter from the EU accession talks, news agency HINA reported. The chief negotiator of the country with the EU, Vladimir Drobnjak, said he expects to closing of other chapters in June. He stressed that the countrys interests in the fields of fisheries were fully protected. The drafts of the negotiation positions on the remaining four policy chapters, namely Judiciary and Fundamental Rights, Competition Policy, Finance and Budgetary Provisions, and Other Issues, will be forwarded to the EU in the coming days.
