CPI grew 9.9% y/y in November.

India's consumer price index (CPI) grew 9.9% y/y in November this year, as compared to 9.8% y/y in October. As reported by IHS Global Insight Daily Analysis, the rural sector's CPI was 10% y/y, while the urban sector's CPI was 9.7% y/y during the period. The country's food prices increased 11.8% y/y, while the price of vegetables grew 14.7% y/y during the period.
