South Korea is expected to become the world's seventh-largest economy by 2032, if it continues to propel its growth engines. As reported by Asia in Focus, Kim Seok-dong, the head of the Financial Services Commission, stated that the country is expected to become the world's tenth-largest economy in 2020, and by 2032, is forecasted to outdo Germany to join the ranks of the world's seven largest economies.
