Country cleared 123 FDI proposals as on August 23.

India cleared 123 FDI proposals worth USD 4.29bn in the current fiscal year till as on August 23 of the current fiscal year. The proposals that were pending till August were approved by the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB). As reported by Asia Pulse, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Jyotiraditya Scindia stated that the FIIs made investments worth USD 1.98bn during the period from April-August. He further mentioned that 21 proposals are pending before the Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) as on August 23.
