Construction works value in Bosnias Serb Republic shrinks 2% in 2011.

The value of the completed construction works in Bosnias Serb Republic fell 2% in 2011, the Republics statistics office said without providing a figure. In December alone the value of completed works rose 5.2% on the year and went up 18.9% on the month, the office said in a statement. The number of workers at the Republics construction sites fell by 12.9% last year, while the volume of effective working hours shrank 11.5%. The number of workers engaged in the construction sector in December dropped 11.1% on the year and edged down 0.7% on the month. The amount of effective working hours spent in the final month of 2011 decreased an annual 10.5% and a monthly 1.2%.
