Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama presented a new online platform for co-governance with citizens entitled “Albania We Want” on October 28.

Ensuring functional and responsible co-governance with the Albanian people was one of the promises made by Rama ahead of the June general election.

The Android application will enable every citizen to get information on all government activities.

“Download this application, become a member of the major coalition of Albania We Want and make direct contact with the government cabinet, present your opinions, ideas, demands or complaints,” Rama said on his Facebook page.

25 employees have been initially engaged to operate the platform.

Everyone that chooses to join the platform will be also given full access to draft laws and will be also be informed in real time about the government’s decisions in the same way as MPs are informed.
