Energy group CEZ was the most profitable company among the 100 largest Czech companies in 2010, CTK reported citing data from the Czech Top 100 association. In terms of 2010 sales, the countrys largest car maker Skoda Auto led the list, followed by CEZ and RWE Transgas. Sales of the 100 companies rose by 13% y/y to CZK 2,34bn (EUR 98.6bn) in 2010, while their combined profit dropped by 1.8% to CZK 190.7bn. Seventy companies said their sales increased last year, as sales of the top 10 companies grew by 12% to CZK 1tn.
