Canadian tycoon Munk mulls EUR 85mn project in Montenegro.

Canadian tycoon Peter Munk is considering launching another investment project in the country, after the one for construction of mega-yacht marine in Tivat, Mina news agency reported. The businessman is interested in developing a golf course and other related facilities in Mrcevo Poje. The project is estimated at about EUR 85mn. Munk's company Barrick Gold, in cooperation with local financial group Atlas, has reportedly launched talks with the authorities for the long term lease of some 2mn sqm of land in Mrcevo Poje. The potential project has a currently unresolved land ownership issues. Upon resolution of the issue, the cabinet is to call a tender for 90-year lease of the land.
