Bulsatcom wins Bulgaria’s seventh digital TV network permit.

Bulgarian TV provider Bulsatcom has been awarded a licence to build the country’s seventh DTT multiplex, the telecoms regulator said in a statement. The other bidder in the tender was DVBT.

The Bulgarian Communications Regulation Commission launched the tender in January after the European Commission referred the country to the European Court of Justice for the non-transparent organisation of the previous tenders for six licences. In tenders held in 2009, two licences were issued to Slovakia's Towercom and another four to Latvian Hannu Pro.
