Bulgaria to send more troops to Afghanistan.

NATO-member Bulgaria will increase its 530-strong contingent in Afghanistan to over 600 troops, state news agency BTA quoted defence minister Anyu Angelov as saying. A joint team of U.S. and Bulgarian instructors will be formed by the autumn and two more such teams are planned in the future. In addition, two more medical teams will be dispatched to the Kandahar province, the minister specified.
