Broadband internet penetration in Slovakia reaches 12.6% as of end-H1.

Market penetration of broadband internet services in Slovakia stood at 12.6% at the end of H1, according to an OECD report. It increased by 3.7pps y/y, representing the third highest growth among monitored countries after Greece and Luxembourg . The total number of broadband internet subscriptions in the country reached 680,351 at the end of the period. Optical network broadband accounted for a 21% share of the total market.
