Bosnias Serb Republic annual CPI inflation remains at 1.6% in July.

Bosnias Serb Republic consumer prices rose 1.6% on the year in July after increasing by the same annual pace in each of June and May, data from the statistics office showed. The consumer price index (CPI) saw a 0.4% monthly drop in July after sliding by 0.7% in June, the Serb Republics statistics office said in a statement. The highest annual price growth in July was registered in the segment of alcoholic beverages and tobacco (up 9% in July vs. 8.4% in June) followed by communications (up 4.2% in each of July and June) and transport (up 2.8% vs. 4% in June). The Serb Republics industrial producer price index (PPI) rose by an annual 0.4% in July after climbing by the same annual rate a month earlier, the office said in a separate statement. In monthly terms, the PPI edged up by 0.3% in July, the same as it did in June. In the sections and divisions classification, the biggest annual increase in the seventh month of 2012 was registered in mining and quarrying producer prices (up 2.1% vs. 3.1% in June), while in the classification by purpose of consumption energy producer prices rose most (up 1.4% vs. 1.6% in June).
