Bosnias industrial production up 5.6% in 2011.

Bosnias industrial production rose 5.6% last year after increasing 1.6% in 2010, the country's statistics office said in a statement. In December alone, the countrys industrial output was 0.4% higher on the year but 0.7% lower on the month. Last years mining production turned to a positive growth of 15.6% after reporting a negative 3.8% in 2010. The manufacturing output growth speeded up in 2011 to 5% from 1.9% reported a year earlier. The increase in utilities production, however, shrank to 2% last year from 3.7% in 2010.
