Bosnias drug firm Bosnalijek says 2012 net profit rises 11% to EUR 3.4mn.

Bosnian drug maker Bosnalijek recorded a net profit of BAM 6.55mn (EUR 3.35mn) last year, up 11% compared to 2011, the company said on its website. Total sales increased by 5% y/y to BAM 111.8mn in 2012. Exports stood at BAM 65.4mn and accounted for 58.4% of total sales. Bosnalijek said that revenue from sales abroad was higher than domestic sales for the second consecutive year in 2012. This year the company targets to boost sales by 15% to BAM 128.6mn and further raise them to BAM 142mn in 2014 and to BAM 157mn in 2015. The company also said it plans to allocate 30% of its future earnings for dividend payments. Bosnalijek employs 806 employees of which 632 in Bosnia and 174 in the companys offices abroad.
