Bosnian utility Toplana returns to profit in H1 as revenue more than doubles.

Bosnian heating utility Toplana returned to a profit of BAM 6.05mn (EUR 3.1mn) in the first half of 2012 from a loss of BAM 6.95mn a year ago as revenue more than doubled, the company said in a bourse filing. Total revenue jumped to BAM 30.6mn from BAM 13.6mn a year earlier, while expenditures rose at the slower pace of 19% y/y to BAM 24.5mn. Toplana is based in Banja Luka and trades its shares on the Banja Luka stock exchange.
