By bne IntelliNews January 10, 2011
Net foreign direct investments (FDI) in Bosnia and Herzegovina plunged to minus KM 120.7mn (EUR 61.7mn) in the first nine months of 2010, compared to a net inflow of KM 325.1mn in the same period of 2009, central bank data showed. We consider that this was mainly a result of the global economic crisis and deteriorating investor confidence. The country registered a KM 793.6mn net inflow of portfolio and other investment, down from KM 837.8mn a year earlier. The net capital entering the economy totalled KM 848.2mn in Jan-Sep, down by 33.8% y/y.
