Austrian PEZ opens EUR 3.6mn plant in Hungary.

Austrian confectionery maker PEZ and Ed. Haas Hungary inaugurated a HUF 1bn (EUR 3.6mn) plant in in Janossomorja, northern Hungary, local media reported. The plant will have an output capacity of 2,000 tonnes of products, which will be exported to 90 countries. The plant will employ about 100 and will be managed by the Hungarian partner. This is the company's second plant, the other being in New York.
