Albanias competition watchdog launches EUR 1mn EU-funded project.

The Albanian Competition Authority has launched a EUR 1mn twinning project which aims at enforcing the antitrust, anticartel, merger and other fair competition rules on the Albanian market, EU delegation in Tirana said in a press release. The EU-funded project will focus on harmonization of national legislation with the EU acquis in the area of competition and on enforcement of legislation. Albania will cooperate with Italian, UK and Hungarian anti-trust offices.
