Albanian central bank, which places state securities on behalf of the government, said that it will auction ALL 8.9bn (EUR 65mn) worth of T-bills on August 14. The bank will offer 12-month T-bills worth ALL 4.3mn and 6-month T-bills totalling ALL 4.6bn. The average yield on the 12-month securities declined by 5bps to 7.26% at the latest auction held on July 31. The yield on the six-month T-bills edged down to 6.23% on July 10 from 6.24% at the auction held on June 12. The central bank has auctioned T-bills worth 223.4bn since the beginning of 2012. |
