Albania to open tender for key road section in Tirana.

The government has decided to open a tender for the construction of a key road section in the capital Tirana, the PMs press office informed. The project envisages the building of a 6-lane road section that will connect the southern districts of the city with the Tirana-Elbasan motorway. It has been approved by the National Territory Regulation Council last week along with another project, which envisages the construction of a 6.5-km highway in the northeastern districts of the city. According to PM Berisha, the EBRD has already express commitment to provide funds for the projects.
