Albania to boost economic ties with Czech Republic.

Albania and the Czech Republic should boost their economic cooperation in areas of mutual interest, ATA news agency reported citing a statement of parliament speaker Jozefina Topalli and Miroslava Nemcova, speaker of the Czech parliaments lower house. The two countries are interested in projects in the industry, energy, transport, mining and tourism sectors. CEZ, the Czech Republics largest power producer, is one of the main foreign investors in Albania. CEZ owns the countrys sole power distribution company.
