Albania launches census of agricultural holdings.

Albanian state statistical institute INSTAT has launched a census of agricultural holdings, which aims to provide general and detailed information for entities in the sector as well as reliable statistical data, necessary for planning, the interior ministry informed in a press statement. The ministry will cooperate with statistical bodies in order to secure the successful implementation of the project. A total of 3,500 surveyors, 750 controllers and 69 supervisors will be involved in the initiative, which is financially supported by the EU.
