Albania eases travel of citizens to neighbouring countries.

Albanian citizens will be able to travel and stay up to three months in neighbouring Macedonia and Montenegro, the three Balkan countries agreed on December 14, 2011, Albanias foreign ministry said in a statement. The travel regime will be applicable to Albanians with biomentric passports. Bosnia and Herzegovina is also expected to join the regional pact. The idea for establishing the so-called Balkan Schengen was presented for first time in June 2010 at a meeting of the Regional Imitative for Migration, Asylum and Refugees.
